The Little Goat Soap Company started from a dream and very humble beginnings in our family kitchen in 2012.
We knew the benefits of Goats Milk Soap in that it is fantastic in helping relieve the symptoms of Eczema and Psoriasis having had experience of it in our own family. So, we set out to perfect our own recipe and tested it on willing humans before we started selling it at local farmers markets.
The response was amazing, and we quickly outgrew the kitchen and moved into a small workshop before finally moving into our current home on the farm which has been in Joanne’s family for over a hundred years.
Over the years our product range has grown from half a dozen Goat Milk Soaps to include other skincare products such as award-winning Solid Shampoos, Bath Soaks and Goat Milk Moisturising Lotions.
In addition to our much-loved Goats, we have a small flock of Badger Faced Welsh Mountain sheep, a couple of dozen chickens and 3 energetic terriers Woody, Rupert and Peggy. (If you ever visit us at our farm shop there is normally a terrier waiting to greet you!)
We milk our goats only once a day and as we do not take their kids from them (as most big commercial operations would do) we only take a small amount of milk, leaving plenty for the little ones!
